Blues Defeat Bruins 4-1 in Game 7

Binnington Saves 32 Shots for Shutout

The St. Louis Blues have won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, defeating the Boston Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night.

Ryan O'Reilly scored for the fourth straight game and rookie Jordan Binnington stopped 32 shots for the shutout. It was Binnington's 16th win of the playoffs, tying him for the most wins by a rookie goaltender in NHL history.

The Blues took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals from O'Reilly and David Perron. The Bruins cut the lead to 2-1 in the second period on a goal from Brad Marchand, but the Blues added two more goals in the third period from Brayden Schenn and Zach Sanford to seal the victory.

Binnington was brilliant in goal for the Blues, making several key saves throughout the game. He stopped 11 of 11 shots in the third period to preserve the shutout.

The Blues' victory is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication. The team has been through a lot in recent years, including a bankruptcy filing and a relocation to San Antonio. But through it all, the Blues have persevered and now they are Stanley Cup champions.
